Court

1. The playing area on one side of the net, which is 5 feet wide and 4 ½ feet long. The sides are known as the player's court and the opponent's court.

2. The playing space around the table. In ITTF international competitions this space is rectangular and not less than 7 metres (7.66 yards) wide, 14 metres (15.3 yards) long, and 5 metres (5.47 yards) high.
